  We enjoyed the stay at Smoky View. It was the perfect get away, absolutely beautiful view, clean and close to everything. The cabin was spacious with four kids and the location was wonderful. Parking could be a problem if you have more than 2 vehicles, but other than that, the place was absolutely breathtaking.

  Overall the stay was fine. The things I didn't like was the steep hills to get to the property and the roads are not wide enough to make turns safely. Also the directional sign to the property is too small to see from the road and finally not having cable access to the lower channels.

  My family of 4 and a 1 yr. old, stayed in the Smokey View for 5 nights. We were very comfortable there. It is just as the rental company says it is. The only problem we encountered was the parking. We had to go up to the neighbors drive to turnaround so we could back into our drive. We loved the cabin though. The view is very pretty. We even had snow one night. We loved the fireplace.

  The cabin was cute, clean and cozy. We had the max of 8 adults staying in this cabin and it was a little cramped when everyone was trying to shower and get ready. When renting the cabin, I didn't think it was going to be as far up a mountain as it is but it wasn't too bad on the ones afraid of hieghts. Please be advises that there is very little parking. There is Only room for 2 SUVs. Overall, we really liked this cabin and would def stay again and recommend it.

  Place was awesome. Don't let the drive up to the cabin fool you. narrow road, and up hill. Remember what goes up, must come down. We spent alot of time on the front porch; visiting and watching the Smokies changeBy the fog.was up early and stayed up late for the sun rise and sun set. never got a picture of that. made a friend with a Raccoon that lived in front of the porch. Just like a dog, was begging for food.
  We would deffintly stay again. Beds slept great. You get the whole moutian experience with this cabin.
  Cabin had everything that you wold need.
  Food and clothes are all that is needed. They have a Wal-mart near by if you need anything. Hope everyone else enjoys this cabin like we did.

  We had a great time in this cabin. We especially enjoyed the hot tub!!! The kitchen were supplied with everything we needed for cooking and from a kitchen standpoint. The view was incredible. We would definitely stay here again.

  I was overall pleased with the stay but had much difficulty with the TV's and the Pool Table. The remote for the TV had low and almost dead battery. There was no DVD player for the main room. and the Pool sticks for the pool table were very limited in number and in poor condition.

  Our family chose the company last year and it was a great pleasure to deal with AMERICAN MOUNTAIN RENTALS. This year, when we began booking our trip, we just went straight to the website for reservations. You never know what you will get at some of the places. Everyone can tell you their story but, Here it is different. Everyone is nice and friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. It is definitely comforting to know you get what you are told there. It is nice to develop a likeness to a particular place rather than having to "shop" around each trip for a place to stay. I can't really say enough about them.

  The cabin was great. The location was really nice. We loves everything that it had and enjoyed the weather as well. The only down fall was the grill. It showed a full sized grill in the picture, but only had a camping grill when we arrived. All in all it was a great place.

  The cabin was clean and great, but the only downside was the very limited parking (2 vehicles for a 8 guest cabin) and almost vertical driveway. Overall, a great experience and nice cabin.

  Our family stay in the Smoky View cabin was wonderful. Just a mile from Dollywood and other than having to drive up and down a mountain, convenient to everything we needed (that is not a complaint... just harrowing at times). It would have been nice to have WiFi access, but we survived very well without email and facebook.
  
  The comfy chair leans a bit, and the downstairs bathroom door didn't lock. It was also very difficult to get the sofa bed to pull out because the living room area is pretty cozy.
  
  Overall, it was an amazing stay, great experience, and we are already planning our next vacation to the Smoky Mountains. Hopefully with more family in an even larger cabin.
  The customer service was fabulous. Great information provided when we asked, discounted tickets to the attractions we wanted, and that stay 2 nights get one free was awesome.
  
  Thanks to everyone at American Mountain Rentals for the great service and helpig make sure we had a wonderful vacation.

  Parking is a challenge for more than one vehicle, but that appears to be the case with most of the cabins on this mountain. We enjoyed the time we were able to spend with family in this cozy little cabin on the side of the mountain. We didn't even use the hot tub, chosing rather to play games inside. We were thankful that it did not snow during our stay, as we were apprehensive about getting up and down the mountain with icy conditions. All in all we had a wonderful time.

  When we checked we arrived at the residence and inside was clean except cobwebs everywhere. Also we called about the bag missing from the vacuum cleaner and I was advised that it was the homeowners that needed to replace it. I went to WalMart and purchased bags so we could clean up when we left. I called about a very heavy smell of the sewer when we were sitting on the deck. It was bad enough we could not
  stay on the deck for a long amount of one ever
  checked the septic system.

  We were very pleases with the Cabin. Every thing was very clean. It had a wonderful View. Our family that went with us are taking about going back. My son and daughter-in-law are alos talking about coming back but maybe in the fall. We were very blessed every where we when. We we treated very well from the American Mountain Rentals. Our air condition wasn't cooling very good down stairs. They came out and fixed it, that very evening. We didn't cook any while we where their we ate out. But the kitcken looked like it had every thing in it. The only think we didn't like was we were going to bring steaks and cook for our reunion, on the grill. It was a grill that looked like they had at a road side park, and it was out in the sun. Other than that we had a great time and I pray that we can have another family reunion their. Their is something for everyone to do. And the best resturant that we found was the Old Mill. Thanks for everything Bev

  The road up to the cabin is very steep, and the driveway only holds 2 cars, one behind the other. It's worth it because the view is wonderful.

  Great location and wonderful view. Cabin was very well equiped. First floor bedroom was somewhat cramped.Pool table was not very accessble and VERY cramped. This cabin was everything the rep told me it was. Would stay here again, but not with intentions if using the pool table. Local channels on the TV could come in handy for news and weather updates.

  We found everything to be in great shape with the cabin, however getting into and out of the driveway from the roadway, was very difficult. When we arrived we found that the air conditioned to the lower level wasn't working but maintenance was already on it and it was fixed quickly. Thanks.

  This was the 2nd year we stayed at this location. The grandkids loved the pool table upstairs and the hot tub. We loved the view from the porch, but the greenery had grown up quite a bit from last year and should be trimmed back. Don't drive a big SUV because of the steep driveway making it difficult to turn around. Overall, it was great!!
