  Very pleased with all aspects of this cabin. The driveway can be scary at first but then becomes easy. This is a great couples getaway location rather for a weekend or longer. Plenty of things to do nearby.

  Loved the cabin. Entering the driveway or the street from the driveway is not for wimps! Very close to a visitor's center. Even better, can get to the Park without going through Gatlinburg.

  My husband and I decided to get away last minute. The staff at AMR was very helpful in locating a place for us, and friendly as well. The chalet was very clean and well maintained. Driveway is small and would not accomodate turn around for a larger vehicle. Once inside, very private. Seems more secluded that it actually is. Overall, we had a great weekend and would stay again.

  Loved the cabin and amenities. However no instruction was provided for the fireplace or hot tubs. Had to figure out how to use on our own. We were never able to use the fireplace. The only other disappointment was that the bed linens did not fit properly. The bottom sheet kept lifting off the mattress, making it unconfitable to sleep.

  The cabin was a great get away for an anniversary celebration. The location was nice with beautiful surroundings and close to town. We especially loved the private outdoor jacuzzi. The drive to the cabin was a little scary since I am not used to mountain driving being from Florida. We had a lovely stay and would return again!

  I wanted a quiet place to spend time with my wife. This rental was perfect. Its location allowed us to be in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg in just minutes, but it felt like we were deep in the woods all alone.

  Overall a nice cabin for a couple with a few caveats. As a travel agent I look at all the little details including the big ones. The first one is the driveway condition and it's location. While nothing can be done about it's location the driveway is somewhat at a crazy angle and is almost impossible to see where you are going both pulling in and backing out onto a road with traffic on a blind corner. Needless to say I was nervous about the driveway the entire 8 days we were there. It does not have a washer/driver a definite negative and the hottub didn't work after one use. I'm sure they (AMR) have it all fixed by now. We have stayed at a lot of different AMR properties and have enjoyed them for the most part. The staff are wonderful and they make you feel welcome. I would just say expect some weird driveway entrance conditions and take that into account. I would arrive to the cabin in the daylight so you can unpack and get a lay of the land then go grocery shopping. Overall a great stay just watch the middle landing of the stairs, my wife slipped on the slender edge of the stairs.

  Everything was great including the weather. We would recommend this chalet. The only problem was the driveway, it took us several times to get our car parked without us worrying that we were to close the edge of the property. I guess we are just flat landers with not enough mountain driving experience.

  Watch for the bears. I was sitting on porch about 10:15pm, very dark & I hear huffing & puffing getting closer. I turned on my maglight & a full grown black bear is just 8ft. in front of me. Wow! I shined light in his eyes & he turned & went on up the hill. I'll never forget.

The cabin was perfect, the scenery was breath taking and the weather was perfect. The people were friendly and helpful. I loved it so much that this will be my vacation spot from now on!   They stay here was very relaxing. This cabin is defenitely a little piece of heaven in the middle of a lot of acivities. This cabin is located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg with very easy access to both cities. The cabin is nestled into the trees of the smokey mountains. The other cabins near by but the balcony is surround but trees and gives great privacy. So forget the hotels and stay in the woods.

  Our friends rented from another rental agency in Pigeon Forge. Our property was nicer and cleaner.....but theirs was much cheaper ($45 a night). We really liked it in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and look forward to another visit.
