Only minutes from Dollywood Theme Park,Splash Country Water Park,Nascar Speedpark,Hard Rock Cafe,over 200 Outlet Stores,The Great Smoky Mountains National Park,The Space Needle,Sky Lift,World's Largest Tram and only 35 miles to Harrah's Casino in Cherokee,NC! The Living room has plenty of space to relax, watch Dvd's, warm up by the fire, and enjoy the spectacular view of the Great Smoky Mountains! The fully equipped kitchen includes stove, microwave, blender, mixer, refrigerator, pots and pans, + all utensils.Dining room will seat 14 people,and the view is awesome! The view was outstanding!! We loved the multiple decks, eleven people and it was sometimes hard to keep track of was great!!!
I can't forget to mention the bears...on our first day we saw four at different times. One cub as we were passing "Bears and Baskets", another up on a ridge behind the house, and a third right outside the back door after sunset. The next morning, a large adult came strolling right through the front yard.....awesome!!! Oh, the raccoon that made his 9:30pm investigation of the lower deck and front yard every night was long as you didn't interupt him by trying to get his picture!!! He was our night watchman.
This was our second rental and we are looking forward to more beautiful times this fall!!!!

we had a great time at this property. it was very nice and had a great view. lots of room and everyboby had their own privacy due to the large amount room in the home. it cost more to rent than most 3 bedroom homes in the area but it was a last minute vacation and it was the only one left that was available. i hope to stay here again if the future.

We take a long weekend in Gatlinburg every year and this is the first time we've seen a bear, a mama bear and her three cubs, sooo sweet...can't wait to go again next year.
Neighbourring a black bear & her 2 cubs for 4 nights was unbelivable and like fantasy for my family members

We had a glitch at the beginning of our weekend that had nothing to do with Breathless but I would say that the support and assistance from management was very very good and the problem solved quickly. The cabin is nice and comfortable. It was not brand spanking new but not in bad shape either, just a bit used. We had a great time and everyone was very comfortable. There is lots of room and with three levels groups can separate. We would recommend.

We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving gathering at the Breathless cabin. The multiple floors helped comfortably house our guests. Cabin is in need of some updating for my personal taste, but was very comfortable - especially the kitchen area. The management office was efficient in correcting any problems that arose. We would stay there again for a large gathering of family. The view is as states "breathless" and the memories made were priceless.

The curvy, hilly climb to Breathless was worth it when you viewed the mountains from the deck. The wooded lot afforded us privacy despite nearby houses. We made use of all the amenities - pool table, hot tub, jacuzzi tubs, decks, gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable air conditioning. We saw some bears, too. The spacious chalet had three levels with bedroom, bath, sitting room, and one or more decks or balcony on each one. Decorative objects enhanced the decor. It was a wonderful vacation place.

They time our family spent at Brethless was a wonderful relaxing experience. It was colse to both Gatlynburg and Piegon Forge for convenient shopping. The kids especailly loved the hot tub, and not a night went by that they were not in that tub. I especailly liked how each family had it's own level(floor), so at night when we were trying to get the kids to sleep, they were not bothered by the other children.
The only thing that i was very disappointed about was, after we were home a day we got a call about a TV that got moved from one room to another (on the same floor, 15 foot away from origional spot) the property manager said that his maintance man could not move the TV back to the sitting room on that floor. Furthermore, he was going to have to charge us $25 to hire another maintance man to help him move the TV. I could understand this if my daughter-in-law, who is 5'1", 130lbs, and has a potassium deffiency (which makes her muscles cramp & hurt) moved the TV by herself. I think that was a blow below the belt just to get more money. But, I paid it and would again stay there, I would just move the TV back before I left.

Only downside experience with property is there is no lock on the inside of ALL DOORS except the use of a key. if you had all doors locked, you cannot open any door without a key. To me that is a dangerous situation! I think a deadbolt should be put on all doors on the inside.
We would definitely like to rent from American Mountain Rentals again and would enjoy renting Breathless.

Our week at American Mountain Rentals facility, "Breathless" was great. The deck and dining room had an excellent view of Mt. Le Conte, yet was very private. Rooms were spacious and well furnished. Breathless was well located to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Smokey Mountain National Park. It was also near the trolley stop for Gatlinburg. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We would definitely like to rent from American Mountain Rentals again and would enjoy renting Breathless.

The Place was rellay awesome. We had the besttime of our life's. You have a great mountain view from all the three decks. The kitchen was fully furnished with all kinds of vessels big, large and small all the things we brought for cooking were not even opened.
The only and only -ve that i can see is that you dont have a music system where you can connect you laptop to, but i could have avoided that by writting some CD's before hand or carrying the right cables to connect to the TV.
All in all i say its a 5 Star from all of us. Some of my friends have actually thanked me for booking such a wonderful place.

This is our third stay here and we love it. It is very spacious with each floor having it's own bathroom, which is necessary in our family! The furnishings and layout are excellent and the views are extraordinary. The property is aging but you can't beat what this chalet has to offer. I have stayed in others, and this one keeps calling me back. It just feels like home- with a little bit of heaven.

Our stay was good, even though it rainned each day and was foggy. The house it self did need some maintaince work(some of the locks were broken on the doors and windows) With being from the city it did make us little nervous. Other wise the house was good and we enjoyed ourselves.

Great view of mountains from hot tub. Spacious accomadations. Very clean. Washer and dryer were a plus. For months of ice and snow would require four wheel drive or chains for this location.
