  We stayed with our two children, ages 14 and 16. It worked out perfectly and the location was close to the park as well as Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Mountain driving to get up there, but great view!

  it was nice. only issue is the step from porch to driveway. its an accident waiting to happen. my 3 year old fell twice.plus the opening under the stairs is not safe if you slip going up to the stairs. fill it in or block the opening.other than that everything was great and would come back .

    We are so glad you had a good time at Wildflower Retreat. Great view, away from the hassles of life, yet close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge make this a great place to vacation. The step leading to the deck is tall and I'm sorry your 3 year old had trouble with it. We will take the proper steps to make sure this is not an issue in the future. Thanks for the advice.   Outstanding rental! The cabin was clean upon arrival and hot tub was already heated up for use. Kept hearing stories about the driveway but I didnt find it bad at all. Would love to come back and stay here again.

  This was our first experience in a cabin and was for our 1-year anniversary. Everything went smoothly. The recommendations about the fridge taking a while to cool things off helped beforehand. The only negative was some of the remotes' batteries were dead and I had to reset the cable box in order for it to work.

  The view off the deck was amazing! We spent everynight in the hot tub looking out at the mountains and city lights. The cabin itself was very nice and alot bigger than expected. Overall great stay, cant wait to come back!

  We love the place, it is very romantic, private and relax. Next time we will love to stay longer. The place was cold when we got there, but didn't take long to warm up. We got lost at first, took an early left turn on Hickory, lost 10 minutes, no big deal. Need to have hotel like soap and shampoo. Overall, the place is clean, met all expectation, enjoyable and would recommend it to other.

  This is my 2nd year at the cabin in the summer, and I plan to return again next year! The view is great, the cabin is wonderfully homelike, the bed is oh so comfortable, and it is convenient to all locations around you! I had a full size truck and a harley with me; the driveway may be a bit of a challenge in the winter, but is very managable in the summer.

  Our stay at the cabin was fantastic and the view was nice. We had never rented a cabin before, it was a lot nicer than we expected and probably cheaper than a motel and being able to cook our own meals in the cabin save a ton of money not having to eat out. I would suggest this to a friend.

  The driveway was a little scarey due to the steepness. We were without water for one day but it was resolved. The hottub was wonderful and it was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Would definately come back.

  The cabin itself had a beautiful view,was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I can criticize is the drive way. It was very short and steep and had an immediate drop off of about four hundred feet. We ended up parking on the street. Which really wasn't a big deal. I also thought that in the description it was supposed to include a gas grill. There was only a charcoal.

  So nice, So convenient, So beautiful. This is a great place; my family is 3 so there was plenty of room and privacy. A+ on the amenities, first rate vacation. I recommend before arrival to get your food shopping out of the way because we found once we were in the cabin, we did not want to leave. This is a vacation destination to recharge, get to know each other again and enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains.

  Overall the stay was wonderful! A couple of suggestions for improvement though: the toilet is a little slow to flush - might want to take a look at it; the filter in the furnace needs to be changed - hasn't been since Dec. 06; a couple of other dish towels would be nice; and a new frying pan would be appreciated! Small minor things that did not affect our relaxing stay, but might enhance the next visitors' stay!

  We had such a wonderful time while visiting the Wildflower Retreat Cabin. It was absolutely beautiful. The driveway was very steep and scarey. But we survived. Both ceiling fans needed some blades replaced but the a/c was working so we didn't them. The deck overlooking the wilderness was totally awesome. We watched a family of baby squirrels play for at least an hour. Will definitely be back..

  This was our second time in the Gatlinburg area. We really liked this cabin, but found the balcony railing loose and unsafe for kids. The driveway was pretty tricky, but I think this common for the area. We mentioned the balcony issue to property management and they thanked us profusely. Overall, a great place--the location was Perfect--neatly between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

  The cabin itself was clean except for upper level window which had some cob webs. The exterior grounds had several pieces of trash on it. I picked them up because I try to leave places better than when I arrived. I also did not want to be charged for leaving a mess. The property itself is not designed for a leisurely walk, but is was overall a very nice place to stay.

  We had a wonderful stay at the log cabin! It was quiet and peaceful. The only thing that was annoying was the TV and the lack of stations. Not that we came to watch TV, but TN and USC were playing and it was a huge game that we wished we could have seen a few plays of. The driveway was a bit tricky too. Other than that, the place was awesome! Loved the hot tub!

  My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time. This is a beautiful cabin. The only complaint we have is the driveway. It is extremely steep. It honestly scared me to death everytime we had to come in and out of the driveway. All in all this was a great place to stay!!

  We had a great time just relaxing after working all week. The hot tub at night was about the best. The pool table came in handy when it came a rain. Perfect location and view. We will be returning very soon. Thank you, The Gould Family

  Our favorite part of each day was coming back to our lovely cabin on top of the hill. My husband called that time hot tub:30. Our whole family got in the hot tub, watched the shooting stars. Yes, there were shooting stars and unpacked each day's adventure. Fabulous!
