  On 3/29/12 our family stayed here at Tree Tops. We had a great time.Didn't mind the steps because the view of Mt Leconte was the best I've had.Would recommend this cabin to anyone.Very close to Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlingurg.Watching the tram was nice also.

  The most relaxing trip I have ever taken!!! The Treetop Treasure was beautiful and clean! The views from the deck are amazing. Only wish we were able to get WiFi, we missed our kids and would like to have Face Timed with them while we were away! Other than that I would not change a thing!!!

  My husband and I rented this chalet for our anniversary vacation, and it was best anniversary that we have ever had. The chalet was clean and cozy, as well as being relaxing and breathtakingly beautiful. I even asked my husband on Sunday if he would call in sick to work so we could stay longer! I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK!

  Our family had an awesome time in the Treetop Treasure! It is a beautiful cabin with an amazing view!!! The funny part about it is that my husband and I got engaged in the cabin directly below us- 13 years ago!! We loved the wood burning fireplace and had a great time in the hot tub and playing pool. It was kid-friendly and we will definitely stay there again!

  This was the second time we stayed in this property. It is very convenient to town and has a nice view of the tram and Mt LeConte. Firewood has been available both times we stayed here. You should be aware that there are nearly 50 steps to the front door from the parking area so if you are not able to climb steps this property is definitely not for you.

  What a beautiful cabin! We loved it! The bed was absolutely as comfortable as any we've ever slept on. The view from the cabin was spectacular! We were delighted to see Christmas decorations. We did; however, feel the televisions needed updating.

  It was a very quiet and cozy cabin. Tucked away in the mountains of Gatlinburg and very relaxing. It had wood burning fireplace which was a real treat. The only thing is that it did not have any kindling to get the fire started. We had a starter firelog though. It did have ample amount of wood though. Great Place to stay.

  We arrived late and picked up our key code and papers in the outside box at the office. I signed the sheet and left it in the box. Sat. got a call stating we needed to sign something else? We didn't want to drive all the way back in Sat. Glad it was open Sun. when we left, we wouldn't have been happy if we had to go back Sat.!!!

  My wife and I had the best honeymoon/vacation either of us could possibly have asked for!! This cabin was perfect and in almost flawless condition. There were only two things that was wrong which we noticed... the first was the insects (wood bees, hornets, misc bugs), but that's out of anyone's control way up there in the mountains. The other was that the A/C went out the second or third night we were there, but the nice people at American Mountain Rentals had someone out there the very next day and fixed it within 30 min's or so! We were thrilled because we didn't want to leave such an amazing cabin! We can't wait to rent this cabin again in the near future...

  We had a lovely stay at Treetop Treasure. It is a perfect get away for an anniversary or honeymoon. The Hammock and Hot tub were very relaxing. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the couch will have to be replaced soon. When you sit in it, you sink all the way down and it is hard to get back up. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has a hard time with stairs. I think there are about 40 steps to get up to the cabin. There is a neighborhood bear that likes to visit the cabin too. One night while we were in the hot tub, one actually tried coming up the steps to join us.

  I had never been to Pigeon Forge, but knew my husband and I wanted to get away in the smoky mtns. WE were very worried when driving through P.F because it looked like a combo of Disneyland and Vegas (which wasn't what we were looking for). The lady on the phone was helpful when I asked what would be better, P.F. or Gatlinburg--she recommended Gatlinburg--thank goodness! We LOVED our cabin--adorable, nice setting (besides the resort view below), and reasonable price. We took a great hike in the smoky's and the ranger station was helpful as well. We were happy to be as far away from P.F. as possible and the location of our cabin was perfect for meeting those needs! Perhaps if we had kids we wouldn't have been so offended with the sensory overload. We would consider staying in this same cabin again and would like to try more hikes in the smokys!

  Paradise isn't just some secluded beach or ocean resort. We found Treehouse Treasure very calming for the soul. We spent most of our time in the house rather than spending time exploring the area's offering. We had a very hectic 2010, and we needed a getaway from the drama back home in Illinois. If you can do away with the cell phones/computer/other media, then your experience on the mountain will be the most relaxing ever. I liked to check on the weather conditions every now and then, but I would recommend leaving the TV's off. Enjoy the peace of the hot tub, jacuzzi, showers, and your own good cooking. Leave your small world behind and listen for yourself what the mountains whisper to you. We will return one day for another escape. The only regret we had was having to leave. Thank you for allowing us to experience your hidden treasure.

  The only thing that upset us was that the hot tub was not ready for us on the first night. The water was low so the water was cold and the pumps wasn't working. We got in late on our first day and was looking forward to jumping in the hot tub. Called the office and they sent out someone the next morning. I also was told to add water so by that morning the pumps were running and the water had already heated. The service guy took a look at the tub anyways. We were told that we would be placed in another cabin if the tub wasn't working correctly. Was happy with how the office took care of the issue.

  Overall great experience, first time to the area. Small details about the cabin that could be improved: A/C and dishwasher both very noisy if needed to be run, louder then your average appliance. Stairs leading up to unit a bit of a struggle when unloading and loading the vehicle at the beginning and end of the stay but worth the view once you're up there.

  Only problems we experienced were the directions to the cabin, we were told to turn right at number ten street light. We were not however told it was the SECOND number ten street light and that there was more than 1 street by that number. Also our jecooze didnt have hot water and the DVD player upstairs didnt work when we wanted to watch a movie. Other than that it was great! Beautiful View, very comfortable,had everything you need in the kitchen. Overall we loved it! The hot tub outside was great. I would definately come back, well worth the money.

  I have stayed at this property for years. This was the first time we had repair issues and we had 4 that were pre-existing. They were handled quickly and with professionalism and courtesy. This was the first year that it was actually a pleasure in dealing with American Mountain rentals. In the past the staff was not friendly and didn't seem to care about the customer. This year all communications were pleasant and no administrative mistakes were made.

  The hammock was awesome to lay in and enjoy the most beautiful view (big enough for 2). The hot tub was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed a nice fire every night - lots of firewood (very romantic). Even though we don't play pool normally, it was fun learning. The inside of the cabin was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. Thanks!! We enjoyed the surrounding area immensely.

  We loved the cabin. The drive up the steep roads were a little nerve wracking, but well worth it! The layout of this cabin was great for the two of us. If you have more than two in your party, you might not appreciate it's open loft bedroom. Highly recommend!

  Great View. Loved the hammock. Really liked the location in the Gatlinburg Chalet Village. Unfortunately we never did see a bear but I suppose that's good in a way.

  I would like to have picked up the keys and be told not to enter until whatever time than to have to drive back into pigeon forge then back out to the cabin. We lost 1/2 a day (schedule wise) checking in. Otherwise we had a great stay ammenities were great, cabin was fantastic. Cabin was much cleaner than I expected to find, clubhouse (swimming) was very nice and clean as well. The view was bar none!

  The photographer did an amazing job almost to the point of misrepresentation. The view was amazing there is no doubt of that. The location is close to Gatlinburg witch was a big plus. If you are allergic to bees this might be a problem they were everywhere, on the upper deck they are boring into the timbers like crazy. I did not appreciate the little notes telling me I had to wash the dishes or pay fifty bucks. I felt as though we paid a very hefty price to stay there and they were unwilling to do anything to make us feel special. Lastly I would recommend the comforter be washed, it looks like it has been quite a long time since it was laundered.

  The first night, the wood burning fireplace caused us problems-the wood was green & there were no fire starters or matches available. We went out to a grocery store the next day & purchased firestarters, kindling & a long handled lighter. The climb to the cabin is pretty tough. Good thing we are both in pretty good shape. I would definitely warn potential guests about the climb. The view from the master bedroom is incredible!

  The stay in Gatlinburg was for New Year's 2009. All I have been able to think about was the mountains. I would highly recommend this cabin and rental company to anyone looking to stay in Gatlinburg. We liked it so much that we are going back to stay in Christmas.

  The view was breathtaking. No better view in the Smokies. Convenient to gatlinburg. The only thing I would change is having to pick up the keys in pigeon forge and taking the keys back to pigeon forge. The cabin is a one in a million. The mountains put on a different show every day!!! We loved it . Plan on renting this chalet again!!

  This cabin has a wonderful view and is perfect for one or two couples! Just be ready to climb the stairs! Once you have everything brought up from your car, the stay is very memorable! The bathroom, the hot tub and the pool table were major pluses for this rental. We even enjoyed sitting outside and grilling steaks and just taking in the view of the mountains and gondolas! Even our cocker spaniel enjoyed his first vacation!

  I thought it was the best vacation my new husband and I have ever had. We enjoyed everything about the property and would love to come up again sometime but the only thing I wasn't crazy about was the price.
